Job Details

The Peterborough Museum and Archives is a community-based museum, located in Ashburnham Memorial Park.� The Museum Discovery Educator will plan, develop and implement educational camp programming for Registrants at the Museum.

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience associated with a completed Bachelor of Education and a combination of 1-2 years previous on-the-job experience in a related field, in addition to proven experience in developing and delivering educational programming for children.

Excellent communicating, planning, and organizational skills an asset. Possess confidence and sensitivity: comfortable with children, adolescents and adults. As a condition of hire, candidates should have Standard First Aid and Level ?C? CPR training; AED Certificate an asset. Candidates must provide a criminal record clearance with vulnerable sector check prior to the start of employment.� Candidates must also successfully complete the City of Peterborough WHMIS and AODA training.

Hours of Work:�The Museum Discovery Educator must be available to work 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, from July 5 to August 16, 2024.

$27.91
